Our Mission is to deliver excellent service to the taxpayers, keep our door open to the public, provide adequate tax revenue, provide taxpayers with assessments that are correct and fair, to minimize their tax burden and to foster economic prosperity.
The Assessor's Oath
I, having been chosen to assess taxes and estimate the value of property for the purpose of taxation for the Town of West Bridgewater, for the year (or years) ensuing, do swear that I will truly and impartially, according to my best skill and judgment, assess and apportion all such taxes as I may during that time assess; that I will neither knowingly overvalue, nor undervalue any property subject to taxation, and that I will faithfully perform all the duties of said office.
The Board of Assessors, having been duly elected by the voters of the Town of West Bridgewater, are always at your service.
