 The Board of Selectmen have placed the Agricultural Commission, Community Preservation Committee, Conservation Commission, Open Space Committee, and the Town River Fishery Committee under one umbrella
of like-minded activity in order for volunteers to partner together, share resources, and find ways to implement Action Items in the Open Space & Recreation Plan, and Master Plan. The DCPR holds quarterly Steering Committee Meetings with the five autonomous committees continuing their own work on a monthly basis.
Now Available! The Nunckatessett Greenway informational map is available for download as a PDF file. The Nuckatessett Greenway is a network of land and water trails connecting the Town River and the Bay Circuit Trail to public conservation areas and urban centers.
Don't forget to check out the Town River Shoreline Survey report on the health of our river. This report was part of the Taunton River Wild and Scenic Feasibility Study.This file is a PDF and is about 8.5mb.
