MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH
May 6, 2010
The regular meeting of the West Bridgewater Board of Health was held on the evening of May 6, 2010 at the Town Hall Conference Room A. Those present were Chairman, John Cruz, Clerk, Linda Simpson, Member, Richard Harris, and Health Agent, Robert Casper. Minutes prepared by Darlene Green, Board of Health Secretary.
The meeting was called to order at 4:10 P.M.
Minutes of April 15, 2010 were approved, motioned by Ms. Simpson, Mr. Harris, 2nd.
Mr. George Collins, Professional Engineer was in attendance regarding septic plans being presented.
Mr. Arthur Cabral, Professional Engineer was in attendance regarding the Waste Water monthly report.
124 Brooks Place- Septic System Upgrade, Mr. Harris motions to approve the variances
requested, and plans as presented, Ms. Simpson 2nds.
400 Forest Street – Septic System Upgrade, Ms Simpson motions to approve the plans as
presented, Mr. Harris 2nds.
Lot 1 Roberts Way- Septic System New Construction – Ms. Simpson motions to approve the
plans as presented, Mr. Harris 2nds.
Arthur Cabral – Waste Water Committee, regarding monthly monitoring report. Mr. Cabral informs the Board that the levels are now back to normal and that the excessive water appears to have been surface water from March’s rain storm. Discussions regarding the storm water runoff discharge, and roof drains were held.
EXECUTIVE SESSION -Was not held
Pursuant to MGL Chapter 39 Section 23B exception 3, to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have detrimental effect on government’s bargaining or litigating position. Also, to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negations with non-union personnel: to actually conduct collective bargaining and conduct negations with non-union personnel.
Motion to adjourn was made by Ms. Simpson @ 5:03 p. m, Mr. Harris 2nds.
