Minutes of the Board of Selectmen meeting of Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Present were Eldon F. Moreira, Chairman; Jerry D. Lawrence, Clerk; and Nancy Maloney, member, and Administrator Elizabeth D. Faricy. The meeting opened at 6:45 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Also present were Town Counsel David T. Gay; Elder Services Director Mary Graf and her husband, Leonard Graf; Volunteers and workers from the Council on Aging; Senior Center employee Janet Beaulieu and her counsel, Laurie Houle; Susan Riley, Janet’s daughter.
Mr. Lawrence MOVED to go into Executive Session pursuant to MGL Chapter 39 Section 23B exception 2.) To consider the discipline or dismissal of , or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual; and exception 3), to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the government’s bargaining or litigating position. Also, to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel, to actually conduct collective bargaining contract negotiations with non-union. And the meeting will not reconvene. Seconded by Mrs. Maloney. Roll Call vote showed: Mr. Moreira, yes; Mr. Lawrence, Yes; and Mrs. Maloney, Yes.
