Description
To oversee and act as liasion for the Board of Selectmen in the day to day business of the Town; handle all bids as Chief Procurement Officer;All Workers Comp and Liability Ins. transactions as Insurance Administrator;negotiate all collective bargaining agreements and employment contracts for the Town and assist all Town departments as needed.
Our Mission is to deliver excellent service to the taxpayers, keep our door open to the public, provide adequate tax revenue, provide taxpayers with assessments that are correct and fair, to minimize their tax burden and to foster economic prosperity.
This office provides public safety information involving design, construction and renovation of buildings or structures regulated under the Mass. State Building Code 780 CMR under MGL Chapter 143.
 
Maintain accurate operations of Accounting Department under MGL 41 Sec. 55 according to UMAS method of Accounting and publish all reports as required under MGL 41 Sec. 57.
Board of Health to serve the the community in their Health and Septic needs.
The mission of the Highway Department is to maintain roadways and sidewalks in proper working order at all times, for the safety of the driving and walking public. Also to maintain and repair town equipment and vehicles as needed or as necessary.
The Town Clerk is responsible for the publishing of all town statistics, vital statistics, elected officers, appointed officials, town report minutes, and election results in the Town Report.
 
The Tax Collector's Office distributes and collects the real estate, personal property, water and motor vehicle bills to the residents of the Town of West Bridgewater.
A Tree Warden is a person who cares for all the shade trees on public lands in your town, such as parks, town commons, public streets, schools, and town forests.
The Mission of the West Bridgewater Fire Departmetn is to protect the citizens and businesses from the ravages of fire and provide emergency medical services. We provide fire protection and emergency medical services. We also teach fire safety, provide burning permits and inspect properties to ensure adequate fire protection exists.
The mission of the Department of Veterans' Services (DVS) is to be the leading advocate for the more than half-million veterans of the Commonwealth and their families and survivors.
 
 
The mission of the Network Administration is to oversee all aspects of the Town's Computer Network. The Computer Advisory Committee serves as an advisory committee to assist the Network Administrator in maintaining and planning for the future growth of the West Bridgewater Computer Network.
